An official website and X (formerly Twitter) account opened today announced that a TV anime adaptation of Ko Nikaido’s With You and the Rain slice-of-life manga is in the works for a 2025 broadcast.
A teaser visual replicating the manga’s first volume colver was also released. Additional details about the production, such as staff and cast, were not announced at the time of reporting.

Nikaido also shared an illustration inspired by his tour of the animation studio.

With You and the Rain has been serialized in Weekly Young Magazine since August 2020 and currently spans six collected volumes, which have a reported 500,000 copies in circulation. Kodansha USA publishes an official English version of the manga and describes the story:
