Umamusume: Pretty Derby is expanding even further with a newly announced TV anime adaptation of Umamusume: Cinderella Gray, based on the manga written by Masafumi Sugiura and illustrated by Taiyou Kuzumi that focuses on the character of Oguri Cap. The TV anime is scheduled to broadcast in 2025. An official website and social media channel was launched today for the series, alongside a teaser trailer on the announcement.
Yuki Ito will direct Umamusume: Cinderella Gray at animation studio CygamesPictures. Aki Kindaichi will provide the series composition, with Takuya Miyahara and Keisuke Sasaki providing the character designs. Voice actor Tomoyo Takayanagi plays the role of Oguri Cap.
Shueisha publishes the original Umamusume: Cinderella Gray manga by Taiyo Kuzumi in the Weekly Young Jump manga magazine with 15 volumes released in Japan to date.
