Next year, the Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! anime franchise will be celebrating its tenth anniversary with a brand new feature film. And lots of familiar faces (and voices) will be returning to next year’s theatrical release. Today, it’s been confirmed that the members of the Earth Conquest Club will join the cast of the winter 2025 film Cute High Earth Defense Club ETERNAL LOVE!
Four new casting announcements confirm the return of the Earth Defense Club’s student council foes and their hedgehog mascot:
Hiroshi Kamiya as Kinshiro Kusatsu
Jun Fukuyama as Ibushi Arima
Takuma Terashima as Akoya Gero
Hiroki Yasumoto as Zundar
Shinji Takamatsu serves as director, alongside series composition writer Michiko Yokote, original character designer Chizuru Miyawaki, anime character designer Tomoko Miyagawa, and music composer yamazo. Studio Comet, which has been involved with the franchise since the TV anime second season, works on anime production.

Crunchyroll, which streams all four series, describes the first season’ story as:
The story revolves around the members of the “Earth Defense Club” aka the “Do Nothing Club” at Binan High School. One day, the club members are soaking in a hot bath together when all of a sudden a mysterious pink wombat appears out of thin air! The wombat asks the members to lend it their help to protect the Earth. At school the next day, each of the club members receives a magical bracelet enveloping them in a dazzling light.
