The official website for the upcoming two-part compilation film based on the BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! TV anime series has released a new trailer for its first part, subtitled Haru no Hidamari, Mayoineko (“A Spring Sunny Spot, A Stray Cat”).
The TV anime BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! aired for 13 episodes from June to September 2023. Crunchyroll, which streams the series, describes its story:
The best way to fit in at a new school? Start a band! Anon has just transferred to Haneoka Girls’ Academy where girl bands are all the rage. But she started school late, so there aren’t many girls left to recruit. Then she meets her first friend and Haneoka’s misfit, Tomori, who’s hesitant to join. Still, Anon is determined to persuade Tomori and experience the true power of friendship and music.
The first of the two-part compilation film, Haru no Hidamari, Mayoineko is set to release in Japan on September 27, 2024, then the second part, subtitled Utau, Bokura ni Nareru Uta (Sing, A Song That We Can Be Ourselves) & FILM LIVE, will follow on November 8. As its title suggests, the second part will also include live performance footage at a concert.
