This year marks the fifth anniversary of the first season of The Quintessential Quintuplets TV anime, which adapted the manga series of the same name by Negi Haruba.
Even after five years the anime is still going strong with the The Quintessential Quintuplets* anime in Japanese theaters later this month and to celebrate the anniversary, a special music video was released set to the song “Kimi Datta Kara” performed by the voice actors of the Nakano sisters in character under the unit name Nakanoke no Itsutsugo.
The single is part of the 5th anniversary album that is set to be released on September 18 which features new songs along with classic hits.
The Quintessential Quintuplets* will have a three-week run in Japanese theaters on September 20 before being screened on TV. The newest anime is directed and written by Masato Jinbo, who returns from the film, based on an original story by series creator Negi Haruba at Bibury Animation Studios. The special will be an original story teased the “Honeymoon Arc.”
Both seasons of The Quintessential Quintuplets TV anime along with the concluding film are currently streaming on Crunchyroll, which describes the series as such:
