The official YouTube channel for anisong unit fripSide has started steaming a full music video for their latest single song, “Secret Operation,” which is now used as the opening theme for the ongoing second cour of the Mission: Yozakura Family TV anime. The song was performed under the artist name fripSide feat. Yoshino Nanjo, and as its name suggests, it features Yoshino Nanjo, the unit’s second vocalist, as the lead singer. Nanjo left the unit in April 2022, and since then Mao Uesugi and Hisayo Abe have performed as the vocalists in the unit’s Phase 3 period.

Following the digital release on July 20, the CD single of “Secret Operation” released in Japan on August 21, 2024, and ranked 26th in Oricon’s weekly single charts by selling 1,944 copies in its first week.
