Cherry blossoms aren’t the only thing set to bloom in spring next year! An official website and X (formerly Twitter) account opened today revealed a magical trailer and visual for a new original coming-of-age anime titled Maebashi Witches, which is scheduled to begin airing on Japanese television in April 2025.
Five newcomer cast members, who voice aspiring witches and will perform the series’ theme songs, are previewed in the trailer below, along with Tomokazu Sugita as scouting familiar Keroppe:

Maebashi Witches Visual
Junichi Yamamoto (More than a Married Couple, but Not Lovers.) directs Maebashi Witches at studio Sunrise, with series composition by Erika Yoshida (BOCCHI THE ROCK!), Yu Inami’s original character designs adapted for animation by Nozomi Tachibana (Kemono Jihen) and music by Yuri Habuka.
