Three-member voice actor unit TrySail has confirmed that their first live concert in Nippon Budokan, titled “LAWSON presents TrySail 10th Anniversary Shukkou (“Departure”) Live ‘FlagShip’ in Nippon Budokan” is set to to be held for two days on March 1 and 2, 2025. They revealed the news in a special announcement video that was posted on their official YouTube channel on September 7.The concert’s theme song, “Koe no Symphony” (“A Symphony of Voices”) is also introduced for the first time in the announcement video below.
TrySail was formed by Momo Asakura (Iroha Tamaki in Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story), Sora Amamiya (Aqua in KONOSUBA -God’s blessing on this wonderful world!), and Shiina Natsukawa (Hina Setoguchi in Heroines Run the Show) in 2015, and has released 16 singles, five original albums, and seven live concert DVD/Blu-rays to date. Nippon Budokan, literally means “Japan Martial Arts Hall,” is an internationally famous sport arena in Tokyo, which has been used by many well-known foreign artists, such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, Queen, Bon Jovi, and The Rolling Stones. To be able to hold a concert in that arena means that the artist has achieved a great success in the Japanese music industry. After various anime theme song works, song contributions, and live performances at various venues including Yokohama Arena and Yoyogi National Gymnasium, TrySail, who set sail in a small boat, now have grown into a big ship that can be called a “FlagShip” with the support of each and every fan. The title of their first Budokan concert expresses the desire for the ship to continue to sail forward and for the fans to continue to follow the flag that TrySail is raising.Tickets are now on pre-sale for the registered members of their official website, TrySail Portal Square, from September 7 to 23.
