Gekijou-ban SutoPuri Hajimari no Monogatari ~ Strawberry School Festival!!!~ (translated to Strawberry Prince The Movie: A Story of The Beginning ~Strawberry School Festival!!!!~) has now accumulative of 600 million yen (4.2 million USD) earned from 520,000 ticket sales in 51 days since its release. The movie’s official X (formerly Twitter) announced the news on September 8.
The anime feature film inspired by Japanese VTuber boy band Strawberry Prince (SutoPuri for short) opened in 326 theaters across Japan on July 19 and earned 178 million yen (1.13 million USD) on over 159,000 admissions in its first three-day weekend. After making its third place debut, the film had stayed in the weekend box office top 10 for two consecutive weekends.
Since its opening, the film has been giving away a different bonus item to visitors every week. The ninth week item is a scene visual card (six types).
