With new allies, new enemies and new areas to explore, the second season of Shangri-La Frontier is shaping up to be even more exciting than the first. A fresh new trailer showcases some of what’s to come, as well as one of the new theme songs for the series.
It’s been confirmed today that the first cour’s opening theme will be “QUEEN” performed by LiSA, while otoha will perform the first ending theme, “Dancer in the Dark Night.”

Shangri-La Frontier is directed by Toshiyuki Kubooka (Handyman Saitou in Another World) at studio C2C, with series composition by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime), character designs by Ayumi Kurashima (Devilman Crybaby) and music by MONACA (NieR:Automata Ver1.1a).
Crunchyroll streamed the first season as it aired, producing an English dub for the series. The streamer describes the series as such:

Anything that can’t keep up with state-of-the-art VR technology is called a “crap game,” and you see a large number of crap games coming out.
