I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History, an upcoming TV anime based on the isekai fantasy light novel series, has published a new web trailer (below) that previews the first episode of the series, which is entitled “Villainess and Muscle Training”. The series will broadcast in Japan beginning on October 1, 2024. Crunchyroll will also stream the series as part of the fall 2024 anime simulcast lineup.
The original I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History light novels are written by Izumi Okido, illustrated by Jyun Hayase, and published in Japan by Enterbrain under their B’s Log Bunko imprint. Yen Press publishes an English language version of the light novels as well as the manga adaptation with artwork by Akari Hoshi. Yuji Yanase directs the TV anime at animation studio Maho Film. Sawako Hirabayashi provides the series composition, Yuko Watabe and Eri Kojima provide the character designs, and Moe Hyuga provides the music.
