Rentaro will have his hands full when he adds new girlfriends voiced by Amane Shindo, Rie Takahashi, Lynn and Kanon Takao to his romantic roster in Season 2 of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You, but he’s got plenty of heart to share in a brand-new key visual unveiled today.
It was also announced that the much-anticipated sequel will debut on Japanese television on January 12, 2025.
Key Visual
Based on the manga by Rikito Nakamura and Yukiko Nozawa, Hikaru Sato (Dropkick on My Devil!) directs The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You at Bilbury Animation Studios, with series composition by Takashi Aoshima (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) and character designs by Akane Yano (And you thought there is never a girl online?).
Crunchyroll streams the first season in a range of subs and dubs, describing the story like so:
Rentaro Aijo was rejected 100 times in middle school. He visits a shrine and prays for better luck in high school. The God of Love appears and promises that he’ll soon meet 100 people he’s destined to date. But there’s a catch—once destiny introduces someone to him, the two must happily love each other. If they don’t, they’ll die. What will befall Rentaro and his 100 girlfriends in high school?
