It’s wedding bells for the two main leads of I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class, known in Japan as Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon Suru Koto ni Natta. To celebrate the upcoming…bliss (?), a brand new trailer was released which previewed and announced two more main cast members, two family cast members of the married couple, a January 2025 premiere for the series and the ending theme song.

The newly announced cast members for I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class include:
Himari Ishikura voiced by Sayumi Suzushiro (Uruka Takemoto in We Never Learn: BOKUBEN)
Shisei Hojo voiced by Nene Hieda (Miyako Muguruma in Warlords of Sigrdrifa)
Tenryu Hojo voiced by Hochu Otsuka (Jiraiya in Naruto)
Chiyu Sakuramori voiced by Fumi Hirano (Lum in the original Urusei Yatsura series)
The ending theme song titled “Beyond Love and Hate” performed by Hinaki Yano was also previewed in the trailer. Yano voiced the female main character Akane Sakuramori.
I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class features Hiroyuki Oshima (episodes of Teasing Master Takagi-san, Space Patrol Luluco) as director, with Tatsuya Takahashi (Domestic Girlfriend) on series composition, Nanako Tatsu (assistant character design for Date A Live IV and V) on character designs and Arisa Okehazama (The Apothecary Diaries) on music for the Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ production. The series is set to premiere in January 2025.Writer Seiju Amano and illustrator Narumi-Nanami’s I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class light novels are published in Japan by KADOKAWA under the MF Bunko J imprint, and a manga adaptation with artwork by Mosukonbu is also serialized by KADOKAWA in their Shonen Ace Plus A digital manga magazine. The story of the series follows Saito Hojo, an elite young man who is poised to inherit his grandfather’s major corporation. Through an unexpected series of events, Hojo ends up getting married to Akane Sakuramori, the young lady whom he dislikes the most in his school. Although Akane is like a nemesis to Hojo in the classroom, will their life as newlyweds take a different turn?
