During Aniplex Online Fest 2024, a brand-new trailer and key visual for the recently announced Ameku M.D.: Doctor Detective TV anime was released, announcing the series will premiere in January 2025.Additionally, Crunchyroll is announcing today the series will stream on the platform when it premieres next year.

Kazuya Iwata will direct the series at studio project No.9. Satori Sugizawa will handle the series composition and script alongside Yuko Kakihara. Yuka Takashina will handle the character designs, with fox capture plan handling the music. Released in Japan under the title Ameku Takao’s Detective Karte, Mikito Chinen began releasing the novels in Shinchosha’s Shincho Bunko nex imprint from 2014 to 2022 with 13 volumes. Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha began releasing the new edition of the novel series starting in 2023 with 16 volumes released to date. A manga adaptation illustrated by Hiroki Ohara ran from 2016 to 2018 for four volumes. A second manga edition illustrated by Eri Takenashi began in 2016 with four volumes released to date.
