Right on schedule, the expedition for more details on the Ruri Rocks TV anime, also known as Ruri no Houseki in Japan, uncovered the first teaser trailer at Aniplex Online Fest 2024 for the adaptation of Keiichirou Shibuya’s manga about two women who study the science of mineralogy. Alongside the trailer, the first visual was released alongside the lead staff and cast members.

Ruri Tanigawa voiced by Miyari Nemoto (Sazanka in In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki)
Nagi Arato voiced by Asami Seto (Mai Sakurajima in Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai)
Shingo Fuji (ONIMAI: I’m Now Your Sister!) directs Ruri Rocks at Studio Bind with series composition written by Michiko Yokote (Shirobako), character designs by Mayu Fujii (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation animation director), sound direction by Kohei Yoshida (Delicious in Dungeon) and music from Daisuke Achiwa (ONIMAI) and Kazuki Yanagawa (Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout). The series is produced by EGG FIRM for a 2025 broadcast.Shibuya has serialized the Ruri Rocks manga in Kadkokawa’s Harta magazine since August 2019, with the fifth volume released in Japan on September 13.The story follows Ruri, a high school girl who loves jewelry, who develops an interest in the world of mineral collecting after encountering Nagi, a graduate student studying mineralogy.
