With two episodes left to go in the series’ broadcast, Senpai is an Otokonoko had a whale of a time during the Aniplex Online Fest 2024 stream by unveiling a new anime music video that pairs the opening song, “Wagamama” by Kujira, with scenes from the romantic comedy’s story so far.
Based on the manga by Pom, Shinsuke Yanagi (Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki) directs Senpai is an Otokonoko at studio project No.9, with series composition by Yoriko Tomita (My Dress-Up Darling), character designs by Shoto Shinkai and music by Yukari Hashimoto (A Sign of Affection). The series also stars Shuichiro Umeda, Akira Sekine and Yuma Uchida.The original Senpai is an Otokonoko manga by pom ran from December 2019 to 2021, and was published in digital format in Japan by LINE and in print format by Ichijinsha. Seven physical volumes are released in Japan to date, with volume eight scheduled to release on April 1, 2024.
