The debut of new series’ in Weekly Shonen Jump continues this week with the first chapter of Shinobi Undercover. The ninja-inspired series from duo, writer Ippon Takegushi and illustrator Santa Mitarashi, started today in the magazine and is available to read simultaneously in English on the Shonen Jump app and Manga Plus.
The pages of Weekly Shonen Jump aren’t unknown to Ippon Takegushi and Santa Mitarashi, as they previously teamed up for the sweet battle series Candy Flurry, which ran in the magazine from April 19, 2021, to September 13, 2021, and was compiled into three volumes. All three volumes were released in English by Viz Media. Outside of manga, Mitarashi was also an animator on the viral PokéDance music video.
As previously mentioned, Shinobi Undercover is available to read in English on the Shonen Jump app and Manga Plus, with the former describing the series as such:
