The egoists of Japanese soccer are back in action next month! BLUE LOCK returns for its second season on October 5, and a hard-hitting new trailer previews the action to come, as well as this season’s new music.UNISON SQUARE GARDEN returns with their new opening theme, titled “Boujaku no CHARISMA.” The new trailer also samples the newly-revealed ending theme: “One” by boy band Snow Man.

BLUE LOCK is based on the award-winning manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura. Yuji Haibara acts as Chief Director for season two, with Shintaro Inokawa also acting as director. Taku Kishimoto will continue to handle the series composition for season two, with Kenji Tanabe on Character Design and Jun Murayama also returning for the music. Studio eightbit will continue to handle the animation production.Tetsuaki Watanabe (Haikyu!! episode director) directed the first BLUE LOCK season with Shunsuke Ishikawa as assistant director (Sword Art Online Alicization episode director) at studio eightbit (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime).
