Ahead of an October 2 broadcast debut in Japan, the Japanese dub of the A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized animated series today released a main trailer for Season 2 that previews the sequel’s ending song, “Ameiro Suisai” (“Amber Watercolor”) by MiMi (Handyman Saitou in Another World).

The original A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized light novels are written by Kaisei Enomoto, illustrated by Syugao, and published in Japan by Kadokawa Shoten under their Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko Imprint. The original net animation is directed by Siwen Liu and features animation production by LAN STUDIO, and it previously streamed in China on bilibili.

Desperate to defend her village from the demon king, Reiko offers herself to a 5,000-year-old dragon for his help in exchange, but the flame-breathing beast is vegetarian and a total weakling.
