Things are going to be extremely normal soon, because Kyoto Animation has announced that they are adapting Keiichi Arawi’s comedy manga, City, into an anime that will be released in 2025.
The main staff, the main cast, a teaser trailer, and a piece of teaser art (below) have been revealed for the series, which is entitled CITY THE ANIMATION. An official website and social media feed have also been published.
The main cast for CITY THE ANIMATION includes:
Midori Nagumo voiced by Mikako Komatsu (Amber in Tales of Wedding Rings)

Kodansha serialized the original City manga from February 2016 – February 2021 in their Morning seinen manga magazine, and a total of 13 collected volumes have also been published in Japan. Vertical Comics also publishes an English language version. Taichi Ishidate directs the TV anime at animation studio Kyoto Animation.
