Ahead of a 2025 broadcast, slice-of-adventure anime Zatsu Tabi -That’s Journey- today announced the casting of Sayumi Suzushiro (Nijika in BOCCHI THE ROCK!) as Koyomi Hasunuma and Sae Hiratsuka as Yui Unoki, adding to Hika Tsukishiro in the leading role as Chika Suzugamori.

Based on the manga by Kenta Ishizaka, Masaharu Watanabe (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) directs Zatsu Tabi -That’s Journey- at studio Makaria, with series composition by Yoshiko Nakamura (Sasaki and Miyano), character designs by rere and music by Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation).
The story follows the journey and growth of Chika Suzugamori, a college student aspiring to become a manga artist. Chika has won a rookie award at a manga award, but her heart is about to break when all three of the manga drafts she submitted for her new works to the editorial department were rejected. For fun, she conducts a survey on SNS about her journey’s destination, and gets a great response. Unable to back down, she decides to start a haphazard journey, relying on the survey.
