The sword boys of the Touken Ranbu media mix project have a new goal ahead of them: becoming idols!
Today marks the launch of Pure Cool Touken Danshi: a new project in which six members of the popular franchise will hold live 3D concerts. This new idol-centric project will feature:
Kotegiri Gou (voiced by Yuuya Hirose)
Buzen Gou (voiced by Taku Yashiro)
Kuwana Gou (voiced by Kent Ito)
Matsui Gou (voiced by Shunichi Toki)
Samidare Gou (voiced by Sho Karino)
Murakumo Gou (voiced by Takuya Eguchi)
The group will host interactive experiences via social media. Ahead of their first big show in March, the group will also host “tasting performances” between October and December in Tokyo and Osaka. After these performances, audience members will be surveyed about their experience; this feedback will be used to help put together the March show.
