The Senpai is an Otokonoko TV anime season may have concluded, but there’s more story to tell! The official accounts followed up with plans to continue with an anime film titled Senpai wa Otokonoko: Ame Nochi Hare. Based on the manga by Pom, Shinsuke Yanagi (Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki) directs Senpai is an Otokonoko at studio project No.9, with series composition by Yoriko Tomita (My Dress-Up Darling), character designs by Shoto Shinkai and music by Yukari Hashimoto (A Sign of Affection). The series also stars Shuichiro Umeda, Akira Sekine and Yuma Uchida.The original Senpai is an Otokonoko manga by pom ran from December 2019 to 2021, and was published in digital format in Japan by LINE and in print format by Ichijinsha. Seven physical volumes are released in Japan to date, with volume eight scheduled to release on April 1, 2024. An English language version is also available via WEBTOON.Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan and describes the story:
