Following the broadcast of the first season’s finale in Japan, the official website and accounts for the Wistoria: Wand and Sword anime announced with a new illustration and trailer that a second season is in production. A release date was not confirmed at the time of reporting.

Based on the manga by Fujino Omori and Toshi Aoi, Wistoria: Wand and Sword is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara (Black Clover), who also serves as series composer, at studios Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures, with character designs by Sayaka Ono (BASTARD!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy-) and music by Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia).
