Nights with a Cat, the ongoing web anime based on the everyday comedy manga of the same name, has published a new piece of artwork to celebrate “Maneki-neko no Hi” (“Beckoning Cat Day”) on September 29, 2024. The artwork (below) features Kyuruga posing like a beckoning cat statue, which are thought to bring good fortune in business. The third season of Nights with a Cat streams on YouTube beginning in December 2024.
Additionally, Kashitaro Ito will perform the official theme song for the third season of Nights with a Cat. Ito also performed the theme songs for the first and second seasons of the series.
Kadokawa Shoten publishes the original Nights with a Cat manga by Kyuryu Z in their Comic Bridge manga magazine. Yen Press also publishes an English language version of the series. Minoru Ashina writes and directs the web anime at Studio Puyukai. Minoru Takehara provides the character designs, and Kana Utatane provides the music.
