The official YouTube channel for Japanese singer Kenshi Yonezu has started streaming a new full-animation music video for “Donut Hole” featuring vocaloid GUMI on vocals.”Donut Hole” was originally released on October 28, 2013 by Yonezu under his vocaloid producer name, HACHI. The song’s original music video was also created by Yonezu himself.This time, a new full-animation music video was created based on the original drawings and drafts newly drawn by Yonezu. Yuki Kamiya (JUJUTSU KAISEN opening movies) served as director, alongside character designer Takahiro Chiba (Haikyu!! chief animation director). Production I.G worked on production, while BLUE RIGHTS on producing. The video depicts a new story featuring GUMI, Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, and Kagamine Rin, all of whom run a scrap metal collection business.
