Summer may be over, but the party is just getting started! Six years on from the finale of the Grand Blue Dreaming anime series, which aired from July to September, 2018, it was officially announced today that a second season is in production.
We’ll have to wait a little longer for a release date, but for now, we can raise our glasses in celebration with the below teaser visual!

Based on the manga by Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka, Shinji Takamatsu (Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto) returns to direct the second season of Grand Blue Dreaming at studios Zero-G and Liber, with character designs and chief animation direction by Hideoki Kusama and music by Yukari Hashimoto (Senpai is an Otokonoko).
