There’s good news and there’s bad news for the Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact fighting game. The bad news: It’s been moved out of its 2024 release window and delayed to sometime in 2025. The good news: The delay was put in place so the team can implement rollback netcode, which will allow for a smoother online experience. As Arc System Works noted in the announcement, “We made this decision out of concern that players would not be able to fully enjoy the game in a state where some players would encounter issues with online play, given the nature of fighting games.”Updated release timing will be announced at a later date.
Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact is in the works for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.VIZ Media publishes the Hunter x Hunter manga in English and Crunchyroll streams the 2011 anime, describing the series:
