With a small “Skreeongk,” the Chibi Godzilla Raids Again web series continues over the next anime season and bringing in the tiny guns to fill out its voice cast. Alongside announcing Mamoru Miyano as Chibi Gigan, the series released a huge new trailer and a gigantic fresh visual.

Mamoru Miyano will be joining the cast of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again as Chibi Gigan. Miyano is best know for a myriad of roles that include Rintaro Okabe in Steins;Gate, Masaomi Kida in Durarara!!, Light Yagami in Death Note, Ryuji Sakamoto in Persona 5, Osamu Dazai in Bungo Stray Dogs, Doma in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and many more. Chibi Gigan will premiere in the October 2 episode of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again.
Miyano has previously lended his voice to Haruo Sakaki in the Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters anime film trilogy. The voice actor said that he’s “very happy to be involved with ‘Godzilla’ again in this way!” and “I hope you’ll look forward to it!”
Taketo Shinkai directs Chibi Godzilla Raids Again at animation studio Pie in the sky, while Chiharu Sakazaki provides the character designs and Toho produces the series. The series currently broadcasting in Japan on the TV Tokyo Network as part of the “Oha! Suta” TV program, and it is also available on YouTube with English subtitles via the GODZILLA OFFICIAL by TOHO channel.
