Series synopsis:
Japan’s desire for World Cup glory leads the Japanese Football Association to launch a new rigorous training program to find the national team’s next striker. BLUE LOCK is based on the award-winning manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura. Yuji Haibara acts as Chief Director for season two, with Shintaro Inokawa also acting as director. Taku Kishimoto will continue to handle the series composition for season two, with Kenji Tanabe on Character Design and Jun Murayama also returning for the music. Studio eightbit will continue to handle the animation production.Tetsuaki Watanabe (Haikyu!! episode director) directed the first BLUE LOCK season with Shunsuke Ishikawa as assistant director (Sword Art Online Alicization episode director) at studio eightbit (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime).
