Puniru wa Kawaii Slime (“Puniru is a Cute Slime”), an upcoming TV anime based on the romantic comedy manga about a boy and his blob, has revealed two new cast additions. The series will broadcast in Japan on TV TOKYO beginning on October 6, 2024.

Shogakukan serializes the original Puniru wa Kawaii Slime manga by Maedakun in their Weekly CoroCoro Comic digital manga magazine. Yushi Ibe directs the TV anime at TOHO animation STUDIO. Michiko Yokote provides the series composition, Aya Tanaka provides the character designs, and Izumi Mori provides the music.

The story of Puniru wa Kawaii Slime follows the daily adventures of Kotaro, a young boy, and Puniru, the slime he created when he was in elementary school. For the last seven years, Kotaro and Puniru have been great friends, but now that he’s a second year student at junior high, Kotaro has discovered that Puniru can take on the shape of a beautiful and free-spirited girl, and her wild behavior causes him no end of trouble.
