Next year’s Fan Fest Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood are going to have something special for anime fans. Universal Studios announced plans to bring One Piece and JUJUTSU KAISEN experiences to the park as part of the Fan Fest Nights 2025 lineup, joining the likes of events based on Star Trek, Back to the Future, Dungeons & Dragons and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Fan Fest Nights 2025 is scheduled to start on Friday, April 25, 2025 and continue on select nights through Sunday, May 18, 2025. The limited, after-hours experience is exclusive to Universal Studios Hollywood with the idea of showcasing immersive activations based on popular series. Details are light, but here’s what Universal had to say about the One Piece and JUJUTSU KAISEN additions:
One Piece: This experience is inspired by the long-running global hit anime series, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, and follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates crew on their epic quest to find “One Piece,” the legendary treasure of the former King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger.
Jujutsu Kaisen: This experience is also inspired by the widely popular Japanese manga and its anime adaptation follows high school student Yuji Itadori after he accidently become the host of a powerful curse and joins Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses.
Anime titles like JUJUTSU KAISEN are no strangers to Universal Studios Japan, but this marks a first for Hollywood. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to launch.Source: Press Release
