It looks like one season wasn’t enough to satisfy Utena Hiiragi—the Gushing Over Magical Girls TV anime will be back for more in the near future!
The announcement was part of today’s fan event in Chiba. While details (such as when exactly the new season will premiere) are sparse, fans did get this teaser trailer confirming the announcement:
Based on the manga by Akihiro Ononaka, Atsushi Otsuki (To Love Ru Darkness) and Masato Suzuki directed the first season of Gushing Over Magical Girls at studio Asahi Production, with series composition by Noboru Kimura (Healer Girl) and character designs by Tomoka Otaki (A Galaxy Next Door).
HIDIVE streamed the first season of Gushing Over Magical Girls. J-Novel Club, which publishes the manga’s official English version, describes the first volume here:
