“A Girl’s Most Important Event ☆,” the first episode of the My-HiME TV anime aired in Japan on September 30, 2004. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the official common website for the My-HiME and My-Otome series has posted a memorial visual (above) and a celebratory illustration (below) newly drawn by the anime’s original character designer, Hirokazu Hisayuki.
Additionally, special videos featuring the anime’s opening theme song ”Shining☆Days” sung by Minami Kuribayashi and ending theme song “Kimi ga Sora datta” by Aki Misato are now streamed on Sunrise’s official YouTube channel.

The TV anime My-HiME aired in Japan for 26 episodes from September 30, 2004, to March 31, 2005. The second installment in the TV anime series, My-Otome, and its OVA sequel, My-Otome Zwei, followed in 2005-2007.
