Pony Canyon’s official YouTube channel is now streaming a music video for “VORTEX” performed by setsuko, the vocalist of the three-member musical project Kuhaku Gokko.The emotional rock tune was composed, arranged, and produced by Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan soundtrack), and is now featured as the opening theme for the fall 2024 TV anime Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms. The music video was created through repeated discussions between Okamoto, the original creators and director of Mecha-Ude, and setsuko, and includes elements that unravel the world depicted in the TV anime.

Okamoto directs the TV anime Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms at TriF Studio with series composition written by Yasuhiro Nakanishi and TriF, character designs by Terumi Nishii and Yoko Uchida, Mecha-Ude designs and concept art by Nurikabe and music from KOHTA YAMAMOTO, DAIKI(AWSM.) and Hiroyuki Sawano.The TV anime premiered in Japan on October 4, 2024, and its first episode “Mecha-Ude User” is now available for Crunchyroll Premium members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS and Indian subcontinent.Crunchyroll describes the series:
