Mission: Yozakura Family, a TV anime based on the romantic comedy / spy-themed shonen manga of the same name, concludes the first season of its broadcast today with the publication of Episode 27, and now a second season has been announced for the series. Aside from the teaser video (below), at the time of this writing no further details about the new season have yet been revealed.
Mission: Yozakura Family began broadcasting in Japan on April 7, 2024, and ran for two consecutive cours. It also streams in worldwide markets on Hulu and Disney+.
The original Mission: Yozakura Family manga by Hitsuji Gondaira is serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump manga magazine. Viz Media also publishes an English language version. Mirai Minato writes and directs the TV anime adaptation at animation studio SILVER LINK., Mizuki Takahashi serves as chief animation director and provides the character designs, and Koji Fujimoto and Osamu Sasaki of Sus4 Inc. provide the music.
