From three years of waiting to no waiting at all! Fantasy adventure anime Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles returns to our screens for the first time since 2021, and with it comes a simultaneous English dub release from Monday, October 7 on Crunchyroll.

Based on the light novels by Yuri Kitayama and Riv, Hiroshi Kubo (Chio’s School Road episode director) directs Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2 at studios TMS Entertainment and WAO World, while Season 1 director Osamu Yamasaki steps into a supervising role and continues as series composer. Kyoko Yufu and Yasuyuki Yamazaki also return as character designer and music composer, respectively.

His past life and current life are intersecting–a boy with memories of two lives faces his destiny! After his mother was killed at an early age, the orphaned Rio fought his hardest to survive in the slums. One day, he awakens to the memories of Haruto Amakawa, who died in an accident while dreaming of being reunited with his childhood friend, and Rio realizing he has reincarnated in a world of swords and sorcery.
