Aikatsu! The Movie will return to theaters in Japan to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its release.As the first feature film in the idol-themed Aikatsu! anime franchise, Aikatsu! The Movie released in Japan on December 13, 2014, earning 560 million yen (3.78 million USD) from its domestic run. The story is the same time as the 112th episode of the Aikatsu! TV series and tells the first large-scale starring Ichigo Hoshimiya, the protagonist of the first half of the TV series.Under the title “Aikatsu! the Movie – Memorial Encore,” the film will screen in theaters across Japan for a limited three-week run beginning November 29, 2024. “Aikatsu! The Movie” story:
Ichigo Hoshinomiya, who has been pursuing her idol activities (i.e. Aikatsu) with the goal of becoming a top idol, has a big chance! “Daistar-Miya Ichigo Matsuri,” a special live event starring Ichigo, is decided to be held! Meanwhile, Mizuki Kanzaki, declares her retirement, leaving the future of Aikatsu in the hands of Ichigo and the other members who has grown up so much. Mizuki is a true top idol who has led Ichigo to this point. “I still want to do Aikatsu with you!” Ichigo decides to create the best stage for Mizuki to express her gratitude!
