n-buna describes the process of creating this song on the band”s official X (formerly Twitter): “The day before composing Aporia, I bought a classical mandolin because I wanted to know a new sound. The next day, I played it for the first time in the studio and recorded until the chorus of the song, improvising as I went along. This song compares endless desire to know to a balloon. So, I hope that that primitive feeling of the instrument I was touching for the first time and phrases I came up with are expressed in the sound.”The video’s director and the digital jacket’s illustrator, Ryu Kato also said on X, “It is the theme song for the anime ‘Orb: On the Movements of the Earth,’ which depicts the itinerary from the celestial to the geocentric, so I am happy to be able to create a video for a song with such a big theme.”
