Orb: On the Movements of the Earth is getting medieval this season, exploring humanity’s growing (and allegedly dangerous) understanding of astronomy. As the series continues, a creditless version of the opening sequence has been released, showing off both the beauty and the terror of this new anime.

The TV anime Orb: On the Movements of the Earth premiered in Japan, October 5, 202. The first two episodes broadcast consecutively on NHK General TV in Japan on the premiere day. And after each episode airs, it will also stream worldwide on Netflix.
Uoto’s manga was serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits from September 2020 to April 2022, for a total of eight collected volumes. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes an official English version of the manga and describes the story as such:
In fifteenth-century Europe, heretics are being burned at the stake. Rafal, a brilliant young man, is expected to enter university at an early age and study the era’s most important field, theology.
