Following last week’s casting of Hitomi Ueda (Yoshino in Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii) as top-ranking adventurer Surena Lysandra, a new video released for the From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman anime today revealed that Yuki Hirose (Koharu in Hi Score Girl) will voice Curuni Crueciel, another knight of the Liberion Order.
The fantasy adventure series is currently scheduled to begin airing in April 2025.
Based on the light novels by Shigeru Sagasaki and Tetsuhiro Nabeshima, Akio Kazumi (Loner Life in Another World) directs From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman at studios Passione and Hayabusa Film, with series composition by Kunihiko Okada (The Eminence in Shadow scriptwriter), character designs and chief animation direction by Satsuki Hayasaki (Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki) and music by Yasuharu Takanashi (Fairy Tail).
