After the appearance of Banjo-Kazooie on Nintendo Switch Online in 2022, it was only a matter of time until its sequel Banjo-Tooie made its triumphant return to the Nintendo ecosystem. Today, Nintendo revealed that Banjo-Tooie will make its homecoming, one that is two decades in the making, through the Nintendo 64 app on October 25.
To commemorate the release, a new trailer was unveiled showcasing the game running on the Switch hardware.

What’s more, the Japanese side of Nintendo also posted a blog article about the release which contains various magazine articles from the original Japanese release of the game as well as cheats codes that unlock various effects in-game and also work in the English language version of the game.
The Nintendo Switch Online classic libraries are available for free to subscribers of the Nintendo Switch Online service with all the classic consoles, barring Nintendo 64, SEGA Genesis and Game Boy Advance, available with the basic tier and the others unlocked in the Expansion Pack.
