The official website for BanG Dream! Ave Mujica, an upcoming new TV anime series from the BanG Dream! franchise, announced the anime is now set to premiere in Japan on January 2, 2025. The premiere date was also revealed in the anime’s second teaser trailer, featured below. The clip features footage from the anime story, including live performance scenes of the five members of the band Ave Mujica on the stage.

The site also announced that the world’s first advance screenings of the anime’s first episode will held at the 109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku theater in Tokyo and at the Anime Festival Asia (AFA) event in Singapore on December 1, 2024. The advance screenings will also be held sequentially in Ilsan (AGF Korea 2024), Taipei, Hong Kong and other cities in the future.
The band Ave Mujica’s second CD single, which will include the anime’s opening theme song “KiLLKiSS” and yet-titled ending song, is scheduled to release in Japan on January 15, 2025. CD jacket images of the single featured with two editions were revealed.

Ave Mujica is the sixth real band from the BanG Dream! franchise, following Poppin’Party, Roselia, RAISE A SUILEN, Morfonica, and MYGO!!!!!. The group consists of five members:

In the anime world, Ave Mujica was formed in the 13th episode of the BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! TV anime, which aired in Japan in September 2023. A production of the BanG Dream! Ave Mujica TV anime was also announced at the same time as a sequel to It’s MyGO!!!!The synopsis on the anime site reads as such:

A girl who had lost both the friends she had vowed to share her fate with and the house where she was born and raised.
