The Dragon Ball DAIMA Special Panel was held at New York Comic-Con on October 17, and it took the opportunity to unveil the lead English dub voice actors for the new series. The cast has Stephanie Nadolny returning to the series as the English voice of Goku (Mini) alongside Aaron Dismuke as new character Glorio. DJ/producer Zedd shared a surprise video message about his role in producing the opening and ending songs, and there was also a video message from original Goku voice actor Masako Nozawa. Here’s what Stephanie Nadolny had to say about the role: “It’s a tremendous honor to once again lend my voice to Goku, and this new chapter, Dragon Ball DAIMA, is filled with exciting adventures that fans of all ages will enjoy.”Aaron Dismuke provided some comments as well: “The energy at this event was amazing, and I’m excited to play a part in this new world within the Dragon Ball universe.”Beyond the dub announcements, the panel also served up the reveal of some of late Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama’s illustrations for the series, including Troll and a plane that Glorio operates.
Dragon Ball DAIMA is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, which describes the series like so:
Goku and company were living peaceful lives when they suddenly turned small due to a conspiracy! When they discover that the reason for this may lie in a world known as the “Demon Realm”, a mysterious young Majin named Glorio appears before them.
