Jinshi doesn’t need nine tails and pointy ears to be sly like a fox, but he still looks good as one in the latest piece of halloween artwork shared by The Apothecary Diaries anime’s official X (formerly Twitter) account today. Previous editions featured Gaoshun as Leizhenzi and Gyokuyo as Princess Iron Fan.
A new voice drama was also released ahead of a program scheduled for Tuesday, October 22 that will celebrate the anime’s 1st anniversary and announce new details about Season 2.

Based on the light novels by Natsu Hyuuga and Touko Shino, The Apothecary Diaries is directed by Norihiko Naganuma (The Ancient Magus’ Bride), who also serves as series composer, and assistant-directed by Akinori Fudesaka (Tsuredure Children) at TOHO animation STUDIO and OLM.
