An official website and X (formerly Twitter) account opened today announced that a TV anime adaptation of the I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! isekai sci-fi series is in the works for an April 2025 broadcast. A teaser trailer and visual were also unveiled, along with main cast and staff details.
As previewed below, the series stars Natsuki Hanae (Okarun in DAN DA DAN) as Liam, Reina Ueda (Reze in Chainsaw Man) as Amagi and Takehito Koyasu (Roswaal in Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) as Guide.

Based on the light novels by Yomu Mishima and Nadare Takamine, Tetsuya Yanagisawa (Berserk of Gluttony) directs I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! at studio Quad, with series composition by Katsuhiko Takayama (The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash), character designs by Kazuya Morimae (Miss KUROITSU from the Monster Development Department) and music by Yusuke Ceo and Shun Narita.
