The winners of this year’s Harvey Awards—which have been recognizing outstanding achievements in various comics-related categories since 1988—were announced over the weekend. The Best Manga category had a bunch of tough competition in it, and Ryoko Kui’s Delicious in Dungeon manga came out on top.Five inductees were also recently announced for the Hall of Fame, including Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama. The other inductees were illustrator Arthur Adams (Uncanny X-Men), comic author Larry Hama (G.I. Joe), artist and writer Sergio Aragonés (Groo the Wanderer) and comic artist John Buscema (The Avengers). Yen Press, which publishes the English edition of the Delicious in Dungeon manga, celebrated the news on its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
