Following two teaser clips, the official YouTube channel for voice actor Ami Maeshima finally started streaming a full music video for “Determination,” the title track of her solo artist debut album. Maeshima, best known as Aya Maruyama in the BanG Dream! series, announced her solo artist debut during a live-stream for “an important announcement” on her official YouTube channel on August 26.

In the second teaser clip, she said of the music video shoot: “I was nervous about how it would turn out, but I thought it would be a very nice music video. I was outside most of the day, so I found myself getting a nice tan. By the time you watch this video, it may already be winter, but I wanted to do my best for the album. The shoot was a lot of fun!”
Maesima originally started her professional entertainment career as a member of the female idol group SUPER☆GiRLS in 2010. She graduated from the group in March 2017 and began her solo career as an actor (mainly for stage plays) and voice actor. Her other well-known anime characters include Ibuki Niijima in the D4DJ series and Makeru Yadano in Komi Can’t Communicate.Her debut album as a solo artist, “Determination” is scheduled to release from KING RECORD’s KING AMUSEMENT CREATIV label on November 20, 2024. Prior to the album release, the title tune is now available on digital services for streaming and download.
