(translated to “Heart-Pounding — A great adventure in the world of games!”) has surpassed 1.15 billion yen (7.53 million USD), according to Mantan Web, Oricon News and Animate Times. As a result, the new Wonderful Precure! movie has now become the second highest-grossing film in the entire Precure anime franchise, only behind Precure All Stars F which earned 1.5 billion yen (9.82 million USD) from its total domestic run.As the 33rd feature film in the 20-year-old Precure franchise, Wonderful Precure! The Movie! opened in 350 theaters across Japan on September 13, 2024, and made a second-place debut at the weekend box office.As previously reported, the film surpassed the one billion yen (6.55 million USD) milestone on 800,000 admissions by October 5 after in three weeks in Japanese theaters. At that point, the film already became the top-grossing non-crossover Precure film, surpassing DokiDoki! Precure the Movie: Mana’s Getting Married!!?
