The voice cast for the upcoming anime adaptation of Shigeru Sagasaki’s From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman: My Hotshot Disciples Are All Grown Up Now, and They Won’t Leave Me Alone light novels continues to grow this week with the announcement that Hinaki Yano joins the roster as Ficelle Harbeller, the ace of the Kingdom Magic Division. A trailer for Harbeller was released, previewing her design.

Akio Kazumi (Loner Life in Another World) directs From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman at studios Passione and Hayabusa Film, with series composition written by Kunihiko Okada (The Eminence in Shadow scriptwriter), character designs and chief animation direction by Satsuki Hayasaki (Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki) and music by Yasuharu Takanashi (Fairy Tail). The series is set to premiere in April 2025.
J-Novel Club publishes an official English version of the light novels and describes the story as such:
